Peppermint & Pistachio Christmas Bark - pt. 2 + giveaway!

Now that we've made our Peppermint and Pistachio Bark, we are ready to package it up for friends and family!

We made some simple tags with our 4 x 4 papers and Holiday Greeting Tags!
First we used our Marvy scalloped circle punch to punch some circles in our 4x4 papers
Then, we glued one of our Holiday Greeting Circles in the middle of punches with our Helmar glue - this glue is the best! Next, we punched a tiny hole in the top to string some bakers twine through...
You can also do that with our Special Delivery gift tags!
Then, we just put the bark into a clear bag (this one we picked up in the baking section at our local craft store) and tied it with yarn or ribbon. Add the special tag and you're done!
Another option is to put the bark in one of our bags! The bags are in a digital kit that you download, print out, then cut and fold! You can make as many bags as you want with this download! Click here to check out the bags.
Yum! I really can't believe how good this bark is! Especially since I'm not a fan of white chocolate! Something about the white mixed with the milk chocolate and the salty pistachios... I die :D

We thought it was time for a giveaway, since it's been awhile since the last one! Just leave a comment letting us know your favorite Christmas dessert! We'll pick TWO winners on Thursday night! One person will win our Holiday papers and Holiday Greeting tags and the other person will win our Digital Download Holiday Bags!

Good luck, everyone!
xo, Elle

Super cute!
My fav Christmas dessert is an old English Cake that my Mom has always made - my Nanna before her - it has real suet in it with currants/fruits and a yummy warm whisky caramel sauce poured over top.

It is so difficult to choose just one favourite but I guess I would have to say the really good, melt-in-your-mouth shortbread that is difficult to achieve but oh so worth the effort. It would look great packaged just like your peppermint bark.

I am soooooo going to make this bark and the tags are PERFECT! Thank you for sharing your goodies! I love this one: Oreo Truffle Balls. Blend 8 oz cream cheese and 1 pkg crushed oreos until well mixed. Form into balls and dip into almond bark (white or chocolate) Add sprinkles, set up in refig and then watch them disappear!

My mom's family came here from Norway, so we still eat a lot of traditional Norwegian food. While it's not usually served as a dessert, it's the sweet part of our Christmas Eve meal...Lefsa. It's like a tortilla made of mashed potatoes, with butter spread on it, and sugar and/or cinnamon sprinkled on top. It's wonderful.

peanut butter fudge, sugar cookies, peanut brittle, the list goes on and on and on!! Thanks for the chance to win!!

Yummy stuff on the inside of the package...and good stuff on the outside too!
If I have to choose just one favorite holiday dessert, it has to be gingerbread. Not cookies, necessarily, but just the gingerbread that takes like cake.
Goes great w/ a cup of cocoa too. Perfect! :D

My coworkers introduced me to oreo balls last year...OMGoodness! Those things are addictive, I'm not so great in the kitchen, but I'm going to have to dust off my utensils and whip some of those puppies up! Coworkers would get a kick out of me giving them baked treats this year...and even if they don't come out right, at least I could package them in those super cute bags! It's all about presentation!!! LOL!

Funnily enough my husband and I were talking about Christmas desserts this morning, when he was clarifying that we were only buying ONE Christmas pudding to share with my family. Pudding is obviously not a fave of his.

Our family favourite, which is not Christmassy in the slightest, is my Mum's hedgehog slice. It's a super secret family recipe and once that plate hits the table, it's empty in 3 seconds flat!!

I hope this next year she and I can make recipe books for everyone in the family. That would about 25 books....yikes. But what fun to do with her. Thank you for the giveaway! kh
